About Treats de Cuisine

Treats de Cuisine is a Chicago-based cat and dog treat company sourcing from our friends at local farms and helping with zero farm waste to deliver sustainable, natural, and healthy tail-wagging treats for our four-legged friends.

We believe in human grade, single-ingredient and all-natural pet treats due to digestive issues, allergies and to accommodate to certain diseases. We never add any seasoning, preservatives or fillers!

All our treats are made in house at our butcher shop & deli which is designed with an open kitchen and production concept.

Kat

With her entrepreneurial spirit, Kat started Treats de Cuisine.

Kat has always been an avid animal rescue enthusiast, home cook, and supporter of local businesses. Over the years and many trips to the farmers market and local pet shops for her two boxers (Stanley “Pup” and Nelle) Kat has always sought out a business servicing Chicago with locally sourced single-ingredient treats. She had a hard time finding cat treats that her black cats loved, as we know cats can be picky! With all paws on deck and crumbles from the dehydrator tray, TDC’s kitty Krackle was born!

Kat’s love and passion for cooking, using local ingredients, saving lives of animals, and influencing Chicago’s culinary scene.  She spent years as a social media consultant for many of Chicago’s best restaurants, chefs and brands which motivated her to combine all of her passions to create Treats de Cuisine. Kat has been on at the Food Network battling Bobby Flay.

Kat also sits on the PAWS Chicago Professional Board and Green City Market Associate Board. Former Pilot Light Chef board member.

 Stanley Pup

RIP 2010-2023

While Kat was volunteering at PAWS Chicago they received a call from Chicago Animal Care and Control about a 10-week old malnourished boxer puppy found in an alley. Being a huge fan of the boxer breed Kat jumped at the opportunity to foster Stanley. Stanley and Kat immediately developed a bond and she adopted him. Stanley and Kat have now enjoyed over 11 years together in Chicago.

Stanley loves long walks, morning cuddles, the Chicago Blackhawks, and overseeing daily kitchen operations.

Stanley Pup’s favorite treat is the chicken tenders.

Nelle

Nelle popped up on Kat’s Facebook about boxer puppy adoptions from Hands of Hope Rescue, this one happened to be in Kansas. She saw the post and it was love at first sight and she needed to meet her. Kat headed to Kansas City battling winter storms and icy roads for her baby.

Nelle enjoys swimming, playing fetch, and loves to be seen around all of Chicago’s HOTTEST dog-friendly patios.

Nelle was the first to taste test all TDC treats.

Nelle’s favorite treat is the PUP burger.

Sage

Sage was adopted from Hands of Hope Rescue in Kansas, just like his big sister Nelle. Sage spends his winters in Florida and summers in Colorado with Kat’s parents. He loves the beach but hates swimming.

He loves to hike and chase birds, squirrels, and lizards. Sage goes crazy for laser pointer games and our chicken liver treats!

Sage runs all the TDC’s  sales and marketing nationwide.

Sage’s favorite treats are the Chicken Livers!

Jinx

Jinx was adopted from The Anti-Cruelty Society and was one of Kat’s 1st cats. Kat loved Jinx’s beautiful eyes and her constant purr. Jinx loves to beg for wet food, lay in any sunny spot in the house, sleep on Kat’s head and make uncanny hunting noises during her playtime. She is in charge of PAWperwork at the TDC headquarters.

Jinx’s favorite afternoon snack is our Kitty Krackle!

Matilda

Matilda was a foster kitten from PAWS Chicago. Kat failed-fostered her and adopted her. Matilda knows how to open cabinets, loves to eat through our packaging to get to the delicious treats, sleeps by Kat’s side every night and loves to play hide-n-seek in boxes. She specializes in TDC’s brand & package design and production.

Matilda’s favorite package to rip apart is our Kitty Krackle!
